CJ Entertainment announced that JYJ member Kim Jaejoong would hold a solo fan meeting event at the Taipei ATT Hall in Taiwan on May 23. The event titled ‘2012 Kim Jaejoong Fan-meeting in Taipei’ is especially dedicated to the Chinese fans of the drama "Protect the Boss" that he had starred in.

Kim Jae-joong will share the episodes that he encountered during the shoot of the drama and his personal life at the event. There will also be time for the games and Q&A session to fully communicate with his fans. Kim Jaejoong will perform “I will protect you,” from the original soundtrack of the drama which he wrote the lyrics for.

According to the local promoter, “Protect the Boss” starring Kim Jaejoong was broadcast on Taiwan’s GTV last year, and the drama was so popular that it might rerun this year. Kim Jaejoong’s fame in Greater China is unequalled, with more than 100,000 fans in his online fan club.

The method of purchasing tickets to the event will be announced via his webpage and Taiwanese ticket sales websites.

씨제스 엔터테인먼트는 “김재중이 5월 23일 대만 타이페이 ATT홀에서 단독 팬미팅을 갖는다”고 밝혔다.

‘2012 KIM JAE JOONG FANMEETING IN TAIPEI’라는 타이틀로 진행되는 이번 팬미팅은 그가 출연한 드라마 ‘보스를 지켜라’의 고공인기에 보답하는 이벤트로 마련 됐다.

김재중은 이번 팬미팅에서 ‘보스를 지켜라’ 촬영 시 에피소드와 최근 근황 등을 밝히고 중국 팬들과 교감할 수 있는 게임과 토크 시간이 마련될 예정이며, 그가 직접 작사에 참여한 ‘보스를 지켜라’ OST ‘지켜줄게’ 등의 공연 무대도 선보일 예정이다.

현지 프로모터 측은 “지난 해 대만 GTV에서 방영 된 김재중의 출연작 ‘보스를 지켜라’는 최근 재방영이 협의 되고 있을 정도로 대만 내 인기를 누리고 있다. 이유는 김재중이 중화권 내에서 독보적 인기를 확보 하고 있기 때문이며 현재 공식 집계 된 김재중의 온라인 팬 회원 수만 10만이 넘는다”고 말했다.

현재 중국 유명 포털 바이두의 ‘보스를 지켜라’ 검색 결과는 200여건에 이르며 중국 유명 포털 소우거우의 경우 약 28만건의 검색결과를 보이며 드라마의 뜨거운 인기를 입증 하고 있다.

한편 이번 팬미팅 티켓 예매는 추후 홈페이지, 대만 티켓 사이트를 통해 공개될 예정이다.
